"Why should I come with you?" Zoe asked. Jerry groaned, then said "You *want* to come with me." "No, I don't. I don't even know who you *are*." Jerry was puzzled. He looked down at the Hypno Flash in his hand. Did he forget to flash Zoe with it? Because that last suggestion should have worked on her. Thinking back, he remembered wondering about Zoe's wardrobe, then regretting about not making a better, more powerful version of the Hypno Flash ... then came to the conclusion that he *hadn't* used the device on Zoe after all.
