Jon's big birthday party

Not every interesting thing need be a magic transformation. In all his excitement over the stone Jon forgot his 18th birthday was coming up. It was a bit of a suprise when it arrived. Jon walked down the stairs eyes bleary from sleep still and his mom, dad, Zoe, Mikey, and Karyn were all waiting for him downstairs, "Happy Birthday!" they said. As Jon's tired eyes focused he noticed the cake on the table, presents, and even decorations. "Theirs more to this than you think" Karyn said. "Why is that?" Jon asked. "You'll see" Karyn said.
