Late Night Reading: A New Story Begins

It wasn't half bad though, and it got his mind off his problems...till he got to the end. It was at that moment he suddenly felt a jolt from the book in front of him. He yelped, dropping the book to the ground. It was like dropping a bomb. It didn't explode. But, there was a flash which appeared where it fell and spread out, like a blast wave before vanishing. He moved to gently pick up the book. It seemed fine...except for the title. **Jon Madison: Wishing Stone** He cursed. "What the..." He leafed through the first few pages. He recognized the events that happened. Reading the note from his grandfather...trying to decide what to do about the stone. He moved to the next page. Blank. The rest of the book was completely blank. He ran upstairs to his room. The stone was gone.
