Slowly Swapping: Interruptions

Mikey paused and looked at him suspiciously. He looked at Melissa, who was focused on the song and driving and lowered his voice. "Like what?" He said, suddenly serious. "Well don't you think it's odd that you're a boy but your wearing girl's clothing?" Gar asked Mikey. Mikey thought about it for a moment. Everyone else seemed to act like it was normal for Mikey to be dressed as he was and yet here was Gary, his best friend, telling him that he wasn't supposed to be like this. Maybe Gary was was experiencing a similar situation. Mikey opened his mouth to question Gar when they came to a halt and Melissa killed the engine and the music. "Come on guys!" She said excitedly as she grabbed her purse and got out. "Let's go shopping!"
