On Drastic POV Change

So I've been reading the BE Addventure a bit too much. My first thought on seeing one of the recent episode posts was to jump to another character, abandoning the preceding branches, and explore the world, but that's not really how it works at FB, ya? Should I go for the drastic switch? I could bring it back around later, maybe... Really, I'm just worried I've forgotten the etiquette. I don't have a pressing story to tell, but I do want to start it up again.
