Zoe and Sarah Turn Six Years Younger

Zoe McMillan could hear that stupid cheerleader bound up the stairs. *Sarah really ticks me off,* thought Zoe. *We used to be so much closer when we were little,* she thought. "I wish we were young again." When she felt the stone grow warm in her hand, she realized what she had done, but was too late to do anything about it. As her bedroom reconfigured itself to become that of an eight-year old girl's room, her sister bursted into the room. Zoe couldn't believe it. Sarah was actually 10 years old again. And that meant that Zoe was eight. "Zo-eee," Sarah playfully said. "You wouldn't believe what happened!" "Uh, what?" "I *just* got invited to Megan's slumber party." *Slumber party?* Zoe thought. She remembered that. That's when ... that's when Sarah and her started to part ways, when Sarah started turning into a prep and Zoe started turning into a Goth. The stone could have made her any age, but it chose to make her *this* age. Maybe it was giving her a chance to change her future ... and more importantly *Sarah's* future. But was she in her past? Or was this still present day, only they were pre-teens instead of teenagers? She couldn't remember what the name of the girl was who was having the slumber party. It *could* have been Megan, but she wasn't sure. All she knew was that *she* was eight and Sarah was ten at the time. And she remembered Sarah running into her room all excited like this. But, she supposed, maybe it didn't matter. She could still make sure that Sarah never became a bitchy ditzy cheerleader, whether they were in the past or not.
