Guy Couples Are Socially Acceptable

As they got into the car, Jon saw a guy he knew from school (Zach Jones) walking casually down the sidewalk. That wouldn't have been strange, except for the fact that he was holding hands with another guy! And now that Jon actually took a look around, he noticed that there were other guys walking around with each other, some were just walking like Zach, but others were hugging or even *kissing* each other. And everyone seemed fine with it all. As if it were all socially acceptable. It seemed that his wish did more than he thought. "I hope this movie is good," Steve said, starting the car. "I'm sorry, but I'm not into romantic movies as much as *you* are." "Uh ... that's okay ... Steve." "Jon, are you okay? You seem a little ... different." "No, I'm okay." "We don't *have* to go out. We could just ..." "No, no. It's fine." He didn't want to lose this opportunity to experience a date with Steve Farber. Steve smiled, then drove the car out onto the street.
