"Sorry, Natasha. As you may know, I'm dating Karyn right now, and even though she hasn't asked me yet, I'm sure she will sometime soon. I really feel bad about this. You're a great girl," Jon said. "That's okay, Jon. At least I worked up the courage to ask," Natasha said, but Jon could tell that she was disappointed. "You know, my friend Tim Brant - he's not dating anyone right now and I'm sure he'd love to go to prom with you. Why don't you ask him?" She shrugged. "Okay. I guess so." She really would have rather taken Jon to the prom, but maybe Jon's BFF would be just as good?
