The door opens

(Two things I want to say. “Break taboo to be together”. Imagine being LGBT in 2005. Major bruh. two Joan’s name is now Jen because Joan is a stupid name.) A little over a minute later the door to Jen’s house swung open. Standing in the doorway was Zoe, Jen’s goth sister. Zoe’s eyes traced up and down Petra’s body before her face took on a grimace. Leaning back from the door Zoe hollered up the stairs, “JEN! Your girlfriend is here!” A moment later, Jen yelled back angrily, “She’s not my girlfriend!” Zoe yelled one last sentence, “Whatever. Not my problem. She’s here okay. Take care of your problems.” before stalking off. Petra could hear her mumbling something about how she hated Jen’s dramatics. Zoe paused and turned around. “What the fuck is your problem come in.” Gesturing wildly. Settle your drama inside where it’s warm. Just keep it down. Some people have lives.” Petra not really knowing what to say to that stepped into Jen’s house closed the door behind herself.
