Sitting in class, Gary patted down his pockets. He wanted to make another change but he wasn't finding it. His searching got more frantic as he tore through his backpack. Students sitting nearby were starting to watch.
Gary stood up and walked around his desk, still not spotting it. He quickly rushed out of the classroom ignoring the teacher's hollering promises of detention.
He had lost the I.D card.
