Jon is curious about Karyn's Statement

For some reason, Karyn's statement 'Make sure that you let me know if you make a wish or at least put in some clause so that I'm aware of any changes, all right?' keep going through his mind. Why would she say something like that to him, especially with the level of trust they have always had. Something like that should just be implied, but this left Jon very curious. "I wonder, hmmm," he said aloud as he held on to his stone , "I wish I knew the last wish made on Karyn's stone, and what the effects of it were as if I had heard the wish."
