Basically, a bunch of people against whom she already had a prejudice due to Brazil's history pulled a trifecta of offenses on her, *personally*. So, of course she'd overreact. She knows not all military people are monsters, but she's not well-disposed towards them and will overreact when they, in particular, do these kinds of things.
