Teasing: Ted Manley

Randy turned and saw Ted Manley, one of his football teammates. "Ted, it's me. Randy." "I know that, you freak. Now, what are you doing in here?" "Ted, why do you keep calling me a freak?" Randy asked. "Because you *are* one?" Ted's attention was diverted as he looked at the leather skirt lying across one of the locker room benches. "Who does that belong to? Is your friend in here too?" "Friend?" "Yeah, that Trevor guy." "Trevor's *not* my friend. Come on, Ted. What's going on? Why are you acting like this. Are you having fun with me?" Suddenly, Ted's face filled up with even more disgust. "I can't even bare to *look* at you." What was going on? Why was Ted acting like that? It was almost as if he thought Randy was really one of those Goths, which couldn't have been further from the truth. He started to get a sinking feeling that maybe *he* wasn't the only one that changed, that *everyone* had changed - changed to believe that he was *supposed* to wear gothic skirts and black lipstick. Of course, that didn't make things easier, it just made them more disturbing.
