Truth Bracelet: friendly but similar

It was like Sarah and her cronies were hit by an ice cold wave. They staggered, shivered and gasped. All very dramatic for all of the blink of an eye. Sarah then smiled, looked down at Zoe, and said: "Hey, Zoe... so, have you thought about letting me borrow that bracelet? It would look so good on me, you know. Just for a week or two?" Zoe took a step back, confused. Something Sarah seems to take as normal. Zoe had hoped that... well... Sarah said exactly something Sarah would say, but it now sounded like friendly banter and nothing malicious. Still self-centered and cut throat but in a good friends sort of way. Which just left Zoe loss for words.
