Karyn and Allison Escape

They ran down the hall, but stopped when they got the shock of their lives. Everyone they saw was an emo. Boys, girls, even a few of the teachers. They all had long uncombed hair and looked down-trodden. And a few of them were cutting themselves, some with razors and the rest with scissors. "They've taken over," Allison said. "What do we do?" "Get out of here, that's what. Come on." They ran to the school exit, pushing past the new emos when they needed to. Once outside, Karyn said "We got lucky. But ..." Then she saw Allison and reconsidered what she just said. Allison's arm was bleeding. One of the emos must have cut her when they were making their escape.
