So I think this site should publicize and make easy to find any wikis about it as well as all website addresses it has had in its history. The only wiki I was able to find was just one web.archive.org archive from August 2, 2012 of a wiki that shortly soon after didn’t exist at http://ftf10.com/wiki/index.php?title=Fiction_Branches for instance, and after much digging was able to find that the site address of fixtion branches started at http://transform.to/~zach/cgi-bin/fbindex.pl which was active from 2000 until 2012 though it continued to exist for years after that but http://fb.countd.eu/cgi-bin/fbindex.pl became the active location until 2017 when it was changed to fictionbranches.net as it currently stands in 2022. But I think this is good information to have, for one thing until I uncovered this I couldn’t search the internet wayback machine for how it looked in the past since all I had to work with was fictionbranches.net and its true history is therefore obscured, as well as important information about it. For instance I didn’t know at first what the “link” field was and it is not on your FAQ page but now I know it is a 2nd title page, the title as seen from the previous page as opposed to the title field being the title as displayed on the same page, if for some reason you want them to be any different.

The "Link" field is the text that will be shown in any links to that episode. For example, if an episode ends with "What does Jon do next?", and you're writing a followup episode, you might want the link on the existing episode to say "Jon gets on the bus", but then you might want the actual Title, displayed in large text at the top of your episode, to say "Jon's Bus Adventure". Just a bit of extra customization for users who want it. You're free to use identical text for both the Link and Title if you choose. At this time there are no plans to support a wiki. We did actually have one in the early days of FB 3.0, back in ~2017, but it was quickly forgotten about, and got nuked when I had to migrate the server to a new host. Since then, it hasn't felt worth my time to stand up another wiki, given the lack of apparent interest the last time I did so.
