And a few minutes after that, the stone was picked up by Lydia Warren, Mikey's teacher. On her morning jog, she spotted the stone. She would have almost missed it, if it weren't for the dim sunlight glinting off of it. It was a kind of metallic glint. She picked it up and looked at it, seeing that it wasn't metal at all, but instead a stone. And a strange-looking one at that. She decided to take it to school. It would impress her students.
