Jon visits Karyn

Jon was very concerned about his friend Karyn. What happened that made his mom hate her so much? Why was everyone treating her so bad? Hours passed as Jon went about his evening. There was the all too silent dinner with his family. Everyone knew what happened today but no one dare speak. It was awful. After dinner Jon was back in his room moving the rock around in his hand. It's smooth surface suggested that it has been held like this before. Must be because of all the trouble it causes Jon thought. But like any high school kid, he thought he could beat it.
