ANFSCD: Unexpected Guest

Jim opened the door to find ... "Rachel?" he asked, stunned (but also pleased) that she was there. She didn't say anything. She just stood there, staring at him with a blank expression. "Rachel, are you okay?" But she didn't respond. He looked past her, thinking that this was some sort of a prank, but he didn't see anyone else on his lawn. His girlfriend (or was it *ex*-girlfriend, now?) breathed, as if she were trying to say something, but nothing came out. Feeling worried and clearly disturbed, Jim pulled her in and closed the door. What was wrong with her?
