ANFSCD: Jim Tells Brandi's Secret to Rick

The next day after breakfast, Jim gave Rick a call. "Hey, man. We gotta talk about last night." Sullenly, Rick replied "What about it?" "Dude, you made a pass at my girl and abandoned yours, and all after you begged me to go." "Well, it's not totally *my* fault," Rick complained. "Brandi *begged* to go out with me, and then basically dumped me *during* the date. Of *course* I was gonna look for fresh meat." "Beth is not meat," Jim said. Rick ignored Jim and continued his rant. "I mean, why would Brandi do something like that? It doesn't make any sense." "Maybe she wasn't into you," Jim said. "Not into *me*? How could someone as hot as Brandi not be into *me*?!" He was clearly getting angrier now. So, Jim felt that he had to increase his own anger too, just to keep up. "She's only into girls, Rick!" There was nothing but silence for what seemed like a while, but was only a few seconds. "Rick, she didn't want me telling anyone, but she's a lesbian. She set up the double date so she could talk to me and Beth." Jim paused for a moment. "Rick? Are you still there?" "Yeah," he said, sounding a little calmer. "Listen, I know you were really into her. Sorry." "Maybe this isn't a bad thing," Rick said. "What do you mean?" "Since I know Brandi likes girls now, I can *become* a girl using my transformation spell. *Then* she'd have me." "Are you sure that's such a good idea?" Jim asked. "Why not? *You've* been masquerading as Kim. What's wrong with me doing the same thing? If it gets me Brandi, where's the downside?" Jim was about to answer that, but before he could, Rick said "I'm gonna get on this right away." Then he hung up.
