Tim checked his watch and kept looking towards Mr. Donovan's office, expecting P.L. to come through that door at any second. But when lunchtime came around, there was still no sign of P.L. Thoughts of why her meeting with the boss was taking so long danced across his mind. Maybe she forgot about the lunch date? His heart sunk so low it made him sick. He thought that she was interested in him. But maybe she was just humoring him. Why would someone that sexy be interested in *him*? He had to face it, he got stood up. The clock hit noon and the whole office left for lunch, except for P.L. and Mr. Donovan. *They* stayed all the way through lunch.
