NARAYANNE: Natalie Doesn't Change

Natalie remembered what happened the last two times she came near a guy and until now had forgotten that she might change if she came too close to her husband. But apparently, nothing happened. Maybe it was because she was *already* Dave's idea of a perfect woman? There certainly couldn't have been anything more romantic than *that*. She kind of felt like a bad person now, knowing that she had to lie to him. But maybe it was okay to tell him. She hadn't changed. And maybe other people only changed when her ex-husband was around. Right now, Chris was on the other side of town, nowhere near them. Then again, she wasn't sure if she could risk it. Sure, it seemed safe enough, but who knows with something like this? Up until three and a half hours ago, she didn't think that something like this could even *happen*. "Well, where were you?" Dave asked, pushing further. "Do you know how worried I was?" So should she tell him or not?
