NARAYANNE: The Thing

After a few more minutes, the rustling noise became more pronounced. It still wasn't getting closer, but it *was* getting louder. "Who are you? *What* are you?" he asked, again not getting a reply in return. Perhaps it couldn't talk. Maybe it wasn't even sentient. It could have been some sort of alien animal. Maybe it was their food. As he pondered these things, he felt a cold slimy thing wrap itself around his leg. "Ugh! Let *go*!" But it didn't. He could feel it slithering up inside his pants and ... He woke up in bed. He quickly sat up and looked around with wide eyes. It was his bedroom, in his apartment. Were the UFO and the aliens not real? Was it all just a dream? It was all so vivid, that Jason wasn't sure. He pulled back his covers and saw that we was still dressed in the same clothes he wore at the movie theater. Now he wished he had never gone to see that movie. It obviously had an adverse effect on him. Then he got out of bed and headed to the bathroom, as he needed to relieve himself.
