ABANDONED: He Wasn't Wearing Red, Was He?

He leaned over White's body. He wasn't breathing. Charlie wasn't a doctor, but he had a pretty good idea that that meant he was dead. Behind him he heard the trees rustling and that eerie slithering sound he heard earlier when he first saw the aliens. They were coming. And now Charlie was all alone. He'd have to protect himself, or else he'd wind up just like the Colonel. So he grabbed White's gun and pointed it in the direction of where the noises were coming from.
