Recovery at FOG

Opening my eyes, I saw a bunch of people in what appeared to be leather lab coats standing around talking, then someone saw me laying there. "Hey, get the doctor, the subject is awake" Then a smiling face appeared, an older, almost matronly face, wreathed in blonde, but holding a syringe that she injected into my arm. "Relax dear, you're safe now" The first guy that spoke said, "Thank god, she's awake, I thought for......" I faded on that. --She?, there must be somebody else that had an accident as well. Oh God, what if the power went out system wide, dozens of people could be in a coma or worse-- I couldn't think anymore, as sleep claimed me......
