CAFÉ: A Married Man

"I've gotta run, dear. But I'll see you at home, okay?" Larry said. *Why did I say that?* he thought. *And why did I call her "dear"?* He turned around and kept going in the direction he was going before. But now, he acted like he had a wife, and kept himself from ogling other women. Every time he tried to gaze upon an attractive woman, he suddenly turned away. What the hell was wrong with him? Michelle sighed with gladness. She was so happy she found someone so perfect to marry. Now, time to get home. She started walking down the road ... but it was in the wrong direction of Mike's house. In fact, the place of residence she was heading towards belonged to *Larry*. Deep down, she knew that Larry wasn't *really* her husband, in the same way that she knew that *she* was supposed to be a *boy* named *Mike*. But the more time that went on, the more comfortable she was with the idea that she was a woman now and that she had a husband that loved her.
