The snake-man stepped closer, looking as if he were going to thrust his spear forward, but then he hesitated. Maybe he was wondering why the vicious beast wasn't attacking?
Jeremy backed off a little, giving the snake-man some space, which caused him to hesitantly lower his spear. He gave a final hiss, then reentered his igloo.
It was an encounter that could have gone a lot worse. But did this mean that they were friends? Or were they still enemies?
