The door opened and Jon smiled. "Hey, Karyn. What's up?" "Oh. Hi, Jon. I wasn't expecting you to come over so ... uh ... early." "Well, if it's a problem ..." "No, no. It's fine. But I'm kind of in the middle of helping out my mom. We're just doing a little bit of spring cleaning in the attic." "I could help out if you want," Jon suggested. "Then we'd have more free time later." "Could you, Jon? That would be great," Karyn said, smiling. She let him into her house, then closed the door behind him. Then the two of them walked upstairs to the attic, where Karyn's mother (Bethany) was already in the process of cleaning.
