LAKE POINT: The Ring Switches Hands

Answering Margaret's question about whether or not she could give her the ring, Laura said "Sure, okay. I wasn't planning on wearing it all the time anyway." Laura then took it off and handed it over to Margaret, who then put it on one of her fingers. From behind them, they heard a car driving into the parking lot. They turned and saw that it was a police car. "I can handle this myself," Laura said. "I'll see you later, okay?" Margaret nodded, then headed into the church. Now that Laura was no longer in close proximity to the rune ring, the changes to her mind and body came to a halt. Even so, she was a much different person (mostly body-wise) than she was that morning. Barring any other magical influences on her, Laura would be a Latino woman for the rest of her life. Since Margaret was now the wearer of the rune ring, her slow transformation into something she hated had begun. But what was the ring turning her into?
