LAKE POINT: Laura Waits For Nadine to Return

Laura looked around the room while she waited for Nadine to return, and what she saw made her feel homesick. This *was* her bedroom, but at the same time, it wasn't. At least, it wasn't the one she remembered. It was completely devoid of any religious items. Was she some kind of atheist or something? She waited a little longer, then began to get worried. It had been almost fifteen minutes. How long would a call to the police be? After a few more minutes, Laura left her bedroom to see what was taking Nadine so long.
