"Mom.... Mom!" Tyler said, his voice finally rising as a last resort to get his mother's attention. The older woman glanced up from the handheld game, giving Tyler a slightly irked look. "Did you brush your teeth yet?" Tyler reminded her, for no other reason than it felt the right thing to say. Rebecca grumbled a response. "What was that?" Tyler asked, his voice growing sharp. "No..." Rebecca admitted, standing up and walking to the bathroom, game still in hand. Tyler sighed and sat back down on the bed, rubbing his forehead. He swore Rebecca could be such a handful sometimes.
