"Best friends, huh?" Nick said, his mind already churning with ideas. "What's your name?" He asked the little girl.
"Vicky," she said, innocently.
He did so love that innocence. "I'm Nick," he said, smiling back.
The girl's mother seemed to find this disturbing. "Excuse me...Nick, is it? But..."
He cut her off. "What's your name?"
"Patricia..." she said.
"Well, I'm talking to Vicky right now. I'm just being friendly. So why don't you..."
