THE INVERTER: Kimberly Tells Scott to Go Away

Scott stood there, a look of misunderstanding on his face. What was his wife doing in his daughter Alexis' room? And why was she wearing one of Alexis' outfits (which looked like it was a little too tight in certain areas)? Kimberly was lying on Alexis' bed, chest down, with her legs crossed in the air behind her, just like Alexis liked to do when she was texting, talking on the phone, or reading a magazine. She looked up from her texting and glared at him. "Get out of here, Scott. I'm busy." Scott, still stunned, backed out of the room and closed the door. He still wanted someone to play with. Who he *really* wanted was Alexis. But where was she?
