WISH ORB - SM6000: The Orb is a Scumbag

(**Author's Note:** This episode was previously, for the most part, written by DocLock, with some minor errors fixed.) Suddenly, the orb lit up in her hands, but she didn't notice as she said "I wish you would just start talking." It seemed that the orb *wasn't* in anti-theft mode after all. The orb must have voluntarily turned itself off, maybe hoping that the people who kidnapped its maker would take it with them and try to use it. And now, one of them had. The orb loved granting wishes. It didn't matter who benefited or got screwed over by them. Granting wishes was just fun. It didn't seem to understand that putting John in danger was a bad thing. John's rage at the orb was seething the moment it reactivated. He felt his mouth begin to move, against his will, then told the woman what she wanted to know. "... and that's everything til you knocked me out," John finished, hating himself for it. The woman looked at the orb, wanting to test its power. She had lost many of her sisters in the protest attack and wanted them back. "I wish ..."
