Jon's Mom Follows

Jon left the house, intending to walk the three blocks over to Karyn's. However, he paused when he heard his mother following him. She was carrying her keys with her. "Wait, Jon," she said, "I'll drive you... if you want." Linda bit her lip and looked down. Jon hadn't really decided what he wanted to do that afternoon, but he decided to test the limits of his new abilities by having some fun. "Ok," Jon said, "but bring your purse. We're going to buy some things." Linda turned to go back into the house. "And hurry up!" Jon added. Jon chuckled as his mother suddenly yanked open the door and took off into the house at a dead run. This would be an interesting afternoon...
