Finding Grandpa

The wish seemed to work, but the journey was bizarre. I couldn't really make anything out, but there was a definite stop-start to it. I'd get a momentary view of somewhere, but before I could focus I was somewhere else. After a few seconds I'd begun to worry the wish had gone wrong and I'd be bouncing around forever, but when I finally came to a halt I realised the odd travel method may have been something to do with the limited range of the stone. Eventually, then, I found myself in a bush. A bush outside a classroom window. I could see into the classroom where a class of 7 and 8 year olds were being taught something. In Portugese. Why was I here? Was this South America maybe? The skintones of the kids in the class backed that up. So maybe this was the right place, but where was Grandpa? As I stood there pondering, wiping the sweat that was rapidly forming away from my brow, I remembered with some elation the wording of my wish. The very fact that I was here meant he was alive!
