The creature makes it's move

The creature floated ominously about the house. It was easily able to tap into the memories of those within the building to get the information it required. It learned many things, about not just Jon, but his whole family. It smirked. So many choices. So many people that Jon trusted, or would want to trust, if the opportunity presented itself. Friends, family, secret love interests. The creature was able to learn all of these things. "Now..." it said to itself. "Who to choose? One of Jon's parents or siblings? One of his friends, or someone with whom he has frown infatuated. Any of these people could lead me to obtaining the stone...but which shall I choose?"
