"Let's go," Jon said, placing his hand on Tom's fishnet-covered arm. Tom shrugged him off. "Don't touch me." "Let's *go*." "Where?" Tom asked. "Home." "I'm not going home with you." "Not *my* home. *Your* home," Jon said. "What?" "I want to see what your new life is like." "I'm not going anywhere dressed like *this*. And certainly not with *you*." "You forget that in this reality you've been this way for years. You've always dressed this way." Tom was hesitant. But he finally decided that home was probably the best place to be right now. And once he got there, he'd *stay* there. But it was going to be difficult walking through the neighborhood in this get-up. Fortunately, however, the sunlight was dimming, so maybe no one would notice him. On the way there, he asked Jon a question. He really didn't want to talk to the freak boy, but he didn't think he could ask this to anyone else. "Corsets are made for girls. How is it that I can wear one?" It was mostly out of curiosity. He didn't *really* care. As soon as he got home, he was going to take it off. "You're androgynous. You probably wear corsets all the time." That disturbed Tom even more than realizing that everyone now thought that he really was a Goth. No way was he going to wear corsets the rest of his life. He wasn't a cross-dresser.
