Jon entered the living room and saw nobody around. He was about to sit in the chair off to the side, when his mother entered the room with a VHS tape in her hands. "Oh, Jon. I was just about to pop in this old home movie from our family vacation a few years back. Want to watch?" "Oh, uh... sure." Jon hadn't thought about how the wish might work with home movies. As his mom put the tape in the VCR, Jon sat in the chair. "Oh, come on Jon. Why don't you sit with me on the couch? It's a better seat than that ratty old recliner anyway." Jon reluctantly moved to the couch, not sure if it was a good idea. That meant he'd be affected by the wish too, and he wondered if he would even notice the changes with the way he'd worded the wish. *It's only for 24 hours though, I might as well try it* he thought. Before he could have any second thoughts, his mom fired up the VCR and TV, and Jon's eyes locked onto the first image that appeared on the screen.
