Decisions

"Jon?" Someone was shaking him. He slowly opened his eyes and let his vision come into focus. "You're gonna *fail*, *boy*!" "Ahh!" Jon screamed, pushing the guy with the red gloves off of him. "Jon, it's me!" "Karyn?" He looked around the classroom and saw everyone staring at him. Suddenly, he felt incredibly embarrassed. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine," he said, catching his breath. "You were really freaking out. Are you *sure* you're okay?" Jon wondered if he should tell Karyn about the bet he made. As far as he could remember, the guy with the red gloves (who called himself Lucifer - was he *really* the Devil?) didn't say anything about not telling anyone about the bet. But, on the other hand, maybe it would be safer if he kept everything about the bet to himself. He had first-hand experience with the guy's temper. Maybe Jon shouldn't risk making him mad again. What should Jon do?
