Jon focused, feeling suddenly nervous in Zoe's presence. "Ummm...never mind," he said, hurrying off. "Who was that?" Her companion asked her. "No idea," Zoe said. "I mean...I've never seen him before today." "Maybe he was trying to ask you out." Zoe laughed. "Yeah, right...You saw how nervous he was...if he was trying to ask me out..." "Well, he was kind of cute." "Not sure he's my type. We'd better get to class though. I'll tell you if he pops up again." Meanwhile, Jon hurried off, turning a corner, and not stopping till he was entirely alone.
