Zoe completes the theft

Zoe didn't realize that her grandfather had given the stone to Jon because he would use it more responsibly than she would. She proved this with her next wish: "I wish that Jon would forget that he ever had this stone." The stone glowed, and Zoe felt safe thinking that the stone was completely hers. She threw the note and the box into the garbage in the bathroom, and headed back to class.
