Where Does Jon Work?

Jon looked out his bedroom window and saw Karyn's car waiting on the street in front of his house. Then he heard Karyn honk. "Alright, alright," he muttered, as he raced out of his room, shoving the wishing stone in his pocket. But then, as he ran down the stairs, he wondered where Karyn was going to be driving him. Jon didn't work. In the summer, he did. But not during the school year. Could it be that the stone created a job for him in this new reality? If so, what was it? And would he be able to do it well enough? He left the house and ran down towards his friend's car. Karyn opened the driver's side window and looked at him. "Come on, Jon. You're gonna be late for work." He got inside and Karyn immediately hit the accelerator, not even waiting for Jon to put his seat belt on.
