Jon Leaves

"You don't mind if I hang out with my friend Karyn, do you?" Jon asked her. "Are you asking permission?" Sally asked. "Jon, you can do whatever you want. It's not like you're babysitting me or something." That's what Jon wanted to hear. "I'll be at the park, if you need me," he said, on his way out. "Why would I need you?" she asked, but Jon was already gone. She shrugged and went back to watching TV.
