Getting the Wrong Idea

Sally turned the TV off, then stood up. "Uhh ... actually, I was thinking of just meeting Karyn by myself," Jon said. Sally looked oddly at Jon. "You don't want me coming along? What are you doing? Going on a date or something?" Then her eyes lit up. "That's it, isn't it? You're dating Karyn now. Why didn't you tell me?" Obviously, Sally was getting the wrong idea. But should he play along with her inaccurate theory? Or make up some other reason to ditch her? Or maybe he could even bring her along anyway. Just because she's at the park with Jon and Karyn, it doesn't mean she had to know about the wishing stone, even though that's the reason Jon and Karyn were meeting up. "So when did you two start dating?" Sally asked.
