Biff Gets The Stone

Biff pried open Jon's hand and snatched the stone from him, then he pushed Jon on the floor. "I wish you'd tell me how this thing works," Biff said. He was amazed when he saw that the stone was *glowing*. Maybe this thing really *was* magic. "All you have to do is touch it and say 'I wish' and then wish for something," Jon said against his will. "You can't reverse wishes. Anyone who doesn't hear the wish thinks that it's always been that way. And the stone has a limited range of a few miles." Jon took a deep breath after being forced to say all of that. "Biff, please. That thing is dangerous in the wrong hands," Jon pleaded. "Are you saying *I'm* the wrong hands?" Biff grasped the stone tightly. "Please, just give it back." "You're a thorn in my side, Jon. I think I'll have to do something about that." He thought for a moment, then smiled. "You said that anyone who doesn't hear the wish thinks that it's always been that way, right? Well then, I wish that you can't hear my next wish." The stone glowed, causing both Biff and Jon to briefly look away again. Jon looked at Biff with shocked eyes. If he didn't hear the wish, he'd think that nothing was different. This was his last chance. He *had* to get that stone back.
