Karyn Is Coming Afterall

"Karyn isn't coming?" Jon asked. Karyn's parents looked at each other oddly, then Karyn's mom looked at Jon. "Why wouldn't she?" At that moment, he heard their front door close. He turned around and saw Karyn walking down the front steps. She had a luggage bag in her arms. "Sorry, Mom. I just wanted to grab a few more things," Karyn said. "You know we're only going to be gone a week," her mom pointed out. "It's just one bag, Mom. Don't overreact." She turned to Jon and smiled. "I'm so glad you decided to come with us, Jon."
