Jon Gets Turned Away

"I was visiting and she said you had some kids my age," Jon said. His mother frowned. "Well, Zoe doesn't seem your type ... umm ..." "Jon, ma'am," he said. "Hm, I have a son named Jon. But he's a little too young to hang out with you," she said. Too young? Did Jon switch with someone who was younger than him? "Oh, there he is right now," she said, pointing at a boy walking towards the house with two other boys. Jon turned and saw that it was Mikey, his little brother. In this new reality (where Jon obviously wasn't part of this family), Mikey was apparently named Jon instead. Jon remembered his mom saying that she always wanted to name her first son Jon. And Mikey was now her first son. "I'm sorry that there's no one here for you to hang out with," Jon's mother said. "But there *is* someone a few house down."
