Sarah giggled. "As if you didn't know," she said. She took him into the kitchen and got him a can of cola. They sat on her couch. Jon got the impression Sarah was subtly flirting with him. He'd seen it from the Sarah he knew, although this Sarah didn't seem to be the manipulative bitch he was used to. His Sarah wasn't good with subtle. "How's your girlfriend?" she asked. Girlfriend? "Umm...fine, I guess," he said. "What did you want to see Karyn about?" Sarah asked, watching him. "Nothing that can't wait," he said, being evasive. "Umm...I better get home," he said. "Well, let me give you my number in case you need anything else," Sarah said. She was flirting with him. He made a beeline for the door.
