(Author's Note: I'm assuming that in his grandfather's letter, it was supposed to say that wishes couldn't be reversed.)
Now, Tommy (or was it Tomi now?) was the best friend that Mikey ever had. Mikey trusted him and he trusted Mikey. Until now. He didn't think that Mikey keeping the coin for himself was such a good idea. While, yes, Tommy *did* make that stupid wish that turned him into a girl, it was just an accident. And since Tommy was better equipped when it came to complex decision-making, he figured that the coin would be in better hands if *he* had it.
So, late that night, he broke into Mikey's house when he was asleep and stole the coin. He knew about his friend's stashing spot, so he knew just where to look.

The next morning, Mikey woke up to find his friend Tommy standing in his room.
"Tommy? Is that you?" Mikey asked. "What are you doing here?" He still had to get used to the fact that his best friend was now a girl.
Tommy seemed embarrassed and was slow to respond. "I ... I had an accident."
"What kind of accident?"
Tommy showed Mikey what the magic coin had done to him.
